Review: Although I indeed bought the Pietta Civilian with silver plated backstrap and trigger guard, it had 4 screws on the frame. (Not 3). Only a 4 screw model can take a shoulder stock. Only 100 1861 came with 4 screw frames for the shoulder stock back in the 1800s. I believe about 38,000 of these 1861 were made. The timing of cylinder rotation, and the gap barrel and frame was excellent. The wedge can actually be tightened and retrieved with heavy thumb pressure alone.
