"A classy firearm!"

Review: I purchased the Alchimisa Jr. in .357 magnum because it ticked all the boxes for me. I prefer to do business in person, or over the phone and E.M.F was a pleasure to deal with over the phone in all respects. The firearm was shipped to my FFL right quickly and I had it in my hands after only a few days - good job, E.M.F! This firearm is a beautiful work of art, and I am very pleased with the aesthetics. I am a person that is of slight build with smaller, slender hands, and the birdshead grip was a must-have for me - especially for the pistol being a magnum. It fits my hands like it was made for me, and I love it. I've handled firearms my entire life, but I wouldn't consider myself any sort of expert I'm just VERY picky about things being in working order, especially if its use could save my life. With that said, the Alchimista Jr. arrived in good working order, although the trigger was too heavy, and the action felt a little 'off' for my liking, and if cocked 'with authority', often didn't seem to lock up properly. With that said, I had no doubt that it would have functioned and fired as intended however, it's a factory-made firearm and needed to fit my high-standards, and so I sent it in to a gunsmith to have some work done. After having Bob Munden's Six Gun Magic tune-up by Jeff Ault, I can report that this firearm is a monster in a smaller form. It shoots where I point it and the action is smooth and buttery, with a perfect, crisp trigger. This is a well-made, gorgeous firearm. It is built to last, and will end up in my son's possession when I am gone. If you think this is the pistol for you, have no reservations about its purchase especially for those of slight stature. P.S: This is not a pistol you want for CC. Despite the smaller barrel, it is still a large chunk of steel and it is quite beefy - just like it should be!

"I saw it and I had to have it"

Review: So I now have the Alchimista Jr .357Mag with 3 1/2 barrel. This is the finest pistol I have ever owned. Forget the engraving that immediately catches your attention, the smoothness of the gears and the balance or the gun with the quite unique birdhead grip is what truly told me I made the right purchase. It is on the smaller side but the grip helps manage recoil so I didn't notice the barrel was half the size of many of the others. This will be a forever gun for me, and if anyone was considering picking one of these up I can't stress enough how satisfied I am with the buy. Hell, it was even shipped to my FFL in TWO days! I have never had such a relaxed and helpful costomer service experience buying anything, much less firearms.. Yall need to get in on this action.
