Review: I noticed one of the other reviews mentioned this was basically an 1860 barrel on an 1861 (or 1851) frame. The pictured pistol actually reflects the shorter grip, which while historically incorrect, is pretty cool. The actual pistol delivered is just a regular 1860 in both grip frame (taller and angled differently than the 1861) and barrel, which admittedly was a little disappointing. I think I did receive the right pistol given the description on the box, but the picture is definitely wrong. I do have a 2022 Pietta 1851 to compare to. This 1860 has slightly better blueing and polish and the fitting of the frame is very good, not that the 1851 was bad. The case hardening is great as wellThe cylinder gap is almost non-existent! The action is good, but the hammer seems to have a little trouble grabbing the sear which I can work out. There were some metal shavings and significant burs, but that was expected. There is a 90 degree flush cut crown. The rifling js very slow, meaning conical balls arent likely to perform well compared to lead balls. Lastly, the balance of the pistol is surprisingly significantly better than the 1851. I might try swapping the lower grip frame over with the 1851 just to see how that turns out. All in all, someone wanting an 1860 to shoot balls with would not be the least bit disappointed. EMF shipped very fast and was great at resolving a slight error in processing- very good people to work with.

Review: First, I've done business with EMF since '20 and all the kudos below apply. I received my Army London the same week I order it. Packing was excellent. Fit and finish were perfect (site photos do not do it justice). Timing and lock up were perfect. What more can I say? Buy one! As to customer service. I had one issue I thought worth mentioning to EMF. They started a sale several days after my purchase with a significant price difference. I emailed EMF to thank them for the order as above, and mentioned the price change. The result? Debbie compensated me (with an added bonus for being nice!) with a significant amount of reward points which I will happily spend in the store. Thank you Debbie!

Review: After ordering my EMF London Model about 2 years ago it was put on back order. EMF contacted me a while later to see if I still wanted to stay on the list. They contacted me again when it arrived and wanted to confirm the order was still wanted. It was worth the wait. Thank you EMF !

Review: Ordered 1860 London Model, received effortlessly and promptly. Fit and finish were very good, nice lockup and timing. In my opinion best value for the price point. Impressed enough to order a second 1860 London about 3 weeks later to have a pair, with out asking they sent me the same quality revolver with a serial number in sequence with the first, very nice surprise. weather accident or intended I Thank EMF. Just a suggestion to other customers, don't rely on luck, like I did, from this experience and previous transactions they seem to go out of their way to work with the Customer. Review: Awesome gun! Shoots great and feels good in my hand!

Review: Was very pleased in the fast delivery and fit and function of the revolver as usual from EMF. It's always been a great experience buying my black powder guns here. The gun is beautiful and shoots very good. The action even seems slicker than most. The only thing I was a little surprised about was the navy grip on a army revolver. It seems that's a Pietta thing though. The EMF catalog shows what looks like an army grip on the gun pictured, but on the website it shows what looks to be a navy grip. I was kind of hoping it would come with the army grip but not a big deal I like it just the same

Review: I ordered two 1860 Army London Revolvers last week, the customers service that I received while placing the order was top notch. I received my two revolvers today, what a pleasure it was to open the boxes and handle these two beautiful revolvers. The fit and finish of both of these revolvers is fantastic. Everything works as it should, the triggers are both crisp and break at 3 ½ and 3 ¾ pounds, a really great feel to them. The lock-ups are both tight and the mechanicals are correct, no cylinder ring will ever appear on these two revolvers. The wood grips are well finished, not dull, but not overly shiny either, just right. They feel great in my hands, I love the different look that the blue steel black strap adds to the revolver, a bit more refined looking then the brass. I can’t wait to shoot them both. Thank you.

Review: I had some reservations about placing an online order for a black powder revolver. However, after a lot of research into different sites, I decided to purchase one from EMF because they have a great selection and the pricing was very reasonable. I placed the order and received a confirmation call from an EMF representative as outlined in their order process. The order was received on time. I was very pleased with the revolver I received the fit and finish was excellent. Overall, I'm very pleased with EMF and their ordering process. I'm about to placer a second order as I know it will be handled in the same professional manner.
