Review: To the reviewer who said “overpriced” are you crazy? Or is this your first gun in this category type and you were expecting a high-capacity, glock style polymer black powder percussion? As an original Colt firearm consultant (and custom display, field, and presentation box designer and builder) I’ve seen and bought every ‘clone manufactured’ guns, as well as sourcing, appraising, and authentication of original colt firearms 1850’s up through the 1900’s these Pieta Mfg’ed guns are stunning, cost effective, robust and durable, accurate, and fit-and-finish are spot on. Not to mention they are also well reverse-engineered from original Colt model firearms not from patent drawings. The spec and tech engraving is crisp and clear the Old-Silver over blue or case-hardened is gorgeous, and the laser engraved options are clean and fine line engraving. These firearms are a bargain as priced, and could easily be sold at twice the asking price. If you think your pistol has an issue causing it to appear “cheap,” or “over-priced, you may well have a defect in your particular firearm. As well as they are packed... things happen! I’m sure EMF and the MFG’er will stand behind these firearms and make the issue right with you. Fantastic customer service. Call them and discuss your individual issue(s). Review: I ordered the engraved 60 Army in old silver / blue. It’s a beautiful gun. Nice finish, wood to metal fit is perfect. The Pietta guns from EMF seem to be finished better than from other distributors I’m very satisfied
