1851/60/61 Pietta Parts Kit

Review: I was very hesitant to disassemble my 1851 Navy. I figured I’d lose parts and screws, etc. But after watching a video on how to do it, and getting replacement parts, I’m thinking I’ve got lots more years of shootin’ fun.

Review: This parts kit is superb. Miles ahead of others I have had, also more durable than what the gun came with. The hardness is on par with modern firearms parts. The ones that came in the gun I could file and hack saw. Not these, I had to get a dremmel with steel cutting rotor to cut the hammer rear sight notch deeper. Well done E.M.F.

Review: EMF are great! Hands down the best company to deal with! The parts kit are better than the parts that came in the NEW pistol i bought. A 1851 and 1860 pistols brand new never been fired, 2022 date code, BOTH hammers wore out (with only function testing ans yes they were cleaned and lubed with a high quality lube) at the cam area that operates the bolt hand. Realy? E mailed Pietta (good luck with that) New hammers seem to be heat treated) fit like a glove and all is good
