Review: I bought a 12 barrel model about a year ago. I haven't shot it very much but I very happy with the piece. I'm amazed at how tight it is and its fit and finish is excellent. The point of impact is just a few inches to the left from point of aim at about 25 yds. with my hand loads, but i can't complain.

Review: I have The Shootist in 357 I bought several years ago. The gun is perfect in every way. Grips are Beautiful. Ejector is tight against the barrel, no movement at all in it. I bought The Shootist in 45 colt a few months ago. Grips look like they were painted the ejector is loose the bluing is not near as deep. It's not the same pistol as my older Shootist. Now to the meat and potatoes... the Shootist SSA revolver is truly a work of art! I could not be happier. The fit and finish is second to none and the action is crisp and clean. As soon as the weather permits here in Colorado I will be out and about with this pistol on my hip! I will be making many more purchases from EMF!

Review: just received my shootist, and it is gorgeous! action is great, locks up super tight. grips are beautiful and not too slick, and the sights are high visibility, wide post and square rear (you need to mention that!!). compliments an emf engraved 7 1/2 45 I bought years ago. trigger is a little rough, but a $ 100 trigger job will fix that. couldn't be happier with gun or service and will definitely order again.
