Review: As can be expected super fast shipping. Hammer fit but as to be expected a timing adjustment was needed. I learned how to work on revolvers from the internet. I ruined several hammers before I got it right. Go slow when adjusting the timing. One or two strokes of a file at a time. And make sure the bolt legs are spread apart wide enough. To close together can cause the half cock not to work

Review: The cam on my original Pietta hammer failed fairly quickly after only one shooting session. The cylinder stop would no longer drop at half cock allowing the cylinder to rotate for loading. The new hammer works great so far. The fit and finish is great. I just hope it lasts longer than my original one did. Now my half cock works correctly and the cylinder stop drops as it is supposed to do that the cylinder can rotate properly.
